Sangharsh 2018 – The Kickoff

“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

– Henry Ford

These were the words with which the 12th edition of Sangharsh, the annual sports tournament between IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, and IIML, was inaugurated at IIMB on 5th January, 2018 with Indian National Swimmer, Mr. Anshul Kothari as the Chief Guest of the opening ceremony. Urging the students to pursue their dreams and not worry about money, he recalled his college days when his professor and classmates had laughed at his career goal of becoming a swimmer. But it was his grit and determination that led to his inclusion in the national teams for Commonwealth Games 2010, Asian Games 2010 & 2014 teams and the Gold medal winning teams of both Asian Age Group Championships 2011 and 2015.
