The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell (EnI) of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore is all set to organize its flagship annual festival – Eximius 2012. The summit will be held over two days on August 11 and 12, 2012 – at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
The summit brings together the aspiring student entrepreneurs from over 150 colleges and gives a chance to showcase their ideas to venture capitalists, attend workshops to give shape to their ideas and obtain guidance from people who have gained success in their ventures.
Keeping in mind the testing times that businesses around the world are going through, the theme for this year is – ‘Failure Fuels Success’. Some of the flagship events of this festival would be Ingen (Business plan competition), Next Up (Business Valuation workshop), Reach (Social entrepreneurship case study) and Level Up (a case study competition by PaperKraft, ITC). There will also be a panel discussion on women entrepreneurship. This year ‘Eximius’ will also play host to a start-up rock band whose members will share their experiences in pursuit of recognition for their music.
The summit is expected to host some well-known faces from the entrepreneurial world including Harish Bijoor, from Harish Bijoor Consults and Ramji Raghavan from Agastya International Foundation. Other speakers and judges at the event would be Sanjay and Shravan Kumaran (youngest CEO), founders of Go-Dimensions, Garima Satija, co-founder Poshvine, Poonam Kasturi, founder Daily Dump, Shantanu Jha, founder of DocSuggest, and Vinita Ananth, founder of CEO Council of India, among others.
