Amidst the New Year celebrations at IIM Bangalore, Unmaad 2013 was launched in style. As the clock struck 12, a crowd of 300+ students who had put on their dancing shoes and were lost in the dhinchak Bollywood numbers, froze in awe when a group of 10 students broke into an impromptu UV light performance. The UV light performance was the first of its kind happening at IIM Bangalore. With complete darkness surrounding the venue, the performance started off with the song ‘Muqabla’ by A.R. Rahman with a dance-off between a white clad student and his shadow in black. Amidst fireworks, the letters of the word ‘Unmaad’ and the Unmaad logo, with the tag line ‘masti ki ARTshala’ was launched with pomp and oomph.
