In the recent past, the glare on public policy formulation has been rising and a serious dearth of managerial insight on these issues has been observed. IIMB too was established in 1973 with a view to cater to the growing managerial needs of the thriving public sector of the country.

As this institute churns out the future leaders of tomorrow, the Public Policy Club plays a humble role in sensitizing the student fraternity about the policy issues which plague the society around us. We are a group of 15 students who share a common interest in understanding the dynamics that impact public policy implementation.

The club organizes various events throughout the year aligned to the theme of policy implementation. We kicked off the academic season this year with panel discussions on the MSME sector. We also hosted the 10th International Conference on Public Policy Management which witnessed eminent judges from across the industry.

The club is proud to have organized the first edition of Model United Nations (IIMB MUN’15) in September 2015. The event saw an overwhelming participation from across the country with students discussing issues related to health and sanitation, poverty, terrorism and social inequality to name a few.

After from these flagship events, the club works closely with the Centre for Public Policy, IIMB to organize poster making, elocution and case discussions on policy formulation issues.
