• Be a Hero… Give Blood!

    Budding managers at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore demonstrated their sensitivity towards the society this Saturday, by hosting a successful blood donation camp in association with Lions Club of Bangalore. The blood donation camp was organized in 2006 for the first time. Since then, the camp which is held twice a year has seen nearly 100 student donors every time. With the completion of this camp, Vikasana has helped raise 161 units of blood in the past one year. The donated blood would be stored at the Lions Club Blood Bank and blood banks at associated hospitals such as NIMHANS.

As a first step, CPP held a meeting on ‘Building Quality in B-Schools: Opportunities and Challenges’ in partnership with eMBArkers group to help B-schools strategise. (eMBArkers has been founded by alumni of XLRI and IIMB’s PhD programme and its main aim is to ‘Build Bandwidth in Management Education’).
