IIM Bangalore kick started the EPGP Connect 2012 in Mumbai. The connect event is an open house session, arranged by the institute to give an opportunity for MBA aspirants to gain insights into the program. This is the second year
IIM-B is doing an out reach programme for its one year full time residential program offered for experienced professionals.

Blood Donation Camp at IIMB

I donated BloodStudent managers at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore demonstrated their sensitivity towards the society last Saturday, the 21st of July, by hosting a hugely successful blood donation camp in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya and Sparsh hospitals.

The blood donation camp, which has become integral with the social fabric of the institution was, for the first time organized in 2006. Such camps are organised twice a year since then, with around 100 student donors volunteering to donate blood on each instance.This year the day-long camp saw a collection of 101 units of blood.

India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) programme to give women politicos a much-needed reboot

Bangalore, Jul 16: A unique initiative, India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) programme to hone the leadership skills and strengthen the capabilities of aspiring women politicians was launched at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore on Sunday. The 10-week Certificate programme was inaugurated by Her Excellency, Margaret Alva, Governor of Rajasthan.

The unique programme is the brainchild of the Centre for Public Policy at IIM-Bangalore and the Centre for Social Research, New Delhi. As many as 30 women from the political and social sphere have enrolled in the programme. Scholarships are also on offer from the UN Women and United Nations Development Program and by Kiran Mazumdar Shaw.

28 women set to hone leadership skills in IIM-Bangalore

BANGALORE: Twenty-eight women entered the portals of the premier Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore on Sunday, resolving to capitalize on an opportunity provided by the B-school’s innovative women’s leadership programme.

The 10-week India-Women in Leadership Programme of the Centre for Public Policy, IIM-Bangalore and Centre for Social Research, New Delhi, was inaugurated by Rajasthan governor Margaret Alva.
