The 2014 edition of IIM Bangalore’s Annual Entrepreneurship Summit ‘Eximius’ was launched amidst much fanfare in campus on 25/6/2014. The two day summit, set to take place on August 9 & 10, will be on the theme ‘The road less travelled’ signifying the fact that this year’s event will focus on the not-so-fashionable areas of entrepreneurship other than technology, such as, social, political, sports, performing arts and media. Start-ups and experts from these fields will be invited to deliver talks and inspire the students to consider venturing into such niche areas of entrepreneurship.

Eximius

Eximius 2014 will feature 50 events overall including workshops, panel discussions and online events. Start-up Bootcamp, which had around 100 start-ups on campus last year, is expected to be bigger and better this time around. The online registration for flagships events ‘Ingen’, ‘Reach’ and ‘Disrupt it’ have already begun on June 27, 2014. Register at www.eximius-iimb.com
This will be the seventh edition of Eximius. Last year’s Eximius 2013 witnessed participation of around 4000 people from 150 different colleges all over India. Eminent personalities like Kiran Bedi (Social Activist) and Kris Gopalakrishnan (Executive Vice Chairman, Infosys) visited IIM Bangalore as Keynote Speakers.

IIM Bangalore’s Eximius 2014 will be held on August 9 & 10, 2014.
