Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is the third oldest Business School among the IIMs. IIM Bangalore was established in the year 1973, the Institute since then has come a long way. IIM Bangalore offers various Doctoral and Post Graduate Programmes in Management. The Institute spread across 100 acres in South Bangalore with stone architecture, lush verdant woods and landscaped gardens.

On 29 October IIM Bangalore will celebrate it’s 39th foundation day, this year, Dr. Ramachandra Guha, historian and biographer, will deliver the Annual Foundation Day Lecture. Dr. Ramachandra Guha is an Indian historian and writer whose research interests have included environmental, social, political and cricket history. He is also a columnist for the newspapers The Telegraph (syndicated in several Indian languages), and Hindustan Times. He is a regular contributor to various academic journals, Guha has written extensively for the magazine Outlook.

During the celebration, presentation of the ‘Distinguished Alumnus Awards’ for the year 2012 will take place.
